Non-Profit Charities

Non-profit charities support women and children in various ways, including medical, health, and social support. When creating a BabyNamy Campaign, the mother-to-be can choose a preferred charity from our list, which will be displayed on their campaign. The list of charities available on our platform includes organizations that operate regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Currently, we offer two charities on our list: March of Dimes and Children's Health Fund. We will keep adding more charities to our platform as we grow. When sponsors donate to a campaign, a percentage of their donation goes to the selected charity. The available options are 0%, 10%, 15%, 25%, 50%, or 100%.

For instance, if the mom chooses 10% and the campaign ends with $1000, then $900 goes to the mom, and $100 goes to the charity directly. Later, if the mother chooses a name that is not the first choice, the difference between the selected name and the top-ranking name will be donated to the charity. This is better explained in How It Works.

The chosen name will always be top-ranked in the unfortunate event of a pregnancy loss. At the end of each month, the donations from completed campaigns are given to the non-profit charities.

Please note that we currently do not offer sponsors tax-donation support due to the complexity of the calculations and low average donation amounts. However, we are working towards providing this feature to the mothers managing their campaigns.
