If you are a new mom and want to close out your fundraiser on BabyNamy, you can do it easily by following the below steps. Please note that if you have a multiple-birth pregnancy, you will need to complete the process for each baby separately.
Step 1: Go to your Campaign
Click on the Status button, then click Baby Birth.
Step 2: Choose the baby's name
Select the first and/or middle name(s) you have chosen for your baby. The amounts that will go to you and the non-profit will be displayed. Click on the "NEXT" button to proceed to the next step.
Step 3: ID and Banking
Make sure you have your legal ID and banking information ready. A third-party app will be launched to verify your identity and banking details to process and close out your campaign. You must grant permission for your phone to take the necessary photos and information. If using a desktop computer, you can scan the QR code displayed on the screen to verify your ID. BabyNamy doesn't require this information when you start your campaign. Just so you know – it is only needed when you are ready to select your newborn's name. The verification process may take a few minutes. In case of any problems, such as incorrect ID or banking details, you can double-check and re-enter the information.
Step 4: Make a special update post
Create a message for your friends and family to announce the closure of your campaign. If you wish, you can also include a photo of your newborn and yourself.
After submission, BabyNamy will verify the information and transfer the funds to your bank account within three business days. Your campaign will stop accepting funds, and you cannot make any changes. If you do not receive the funds after five days, please get in touch with us via the Trouble Ticket. Also, make sure you check the correct bank account. We may also contact you for any issues or errors during the transfer process.
